Hexagon wrenches are a locksmith and assembly tool having an outer slot in the form of a regular hexagon. They are a hexagonal profile rod bent at right angles. The head of the device can be flat or made in the form of a sphere with a worn neck. Hexagons are unique: the key is inserted into a hexagonal recess in the center of each nut and screw, and does not wrap around the head like other types of wrenches.
